On Wed 13th November our Army CX team had the privilege of being coached by Ian Field. Ian is 5x National Cyclocross Champion and put the team through a variety of skills and drills throughout the day at Cyclopark Gravesend. The whole team had a brilliant day and have come away with some different techniques to use during training and racing (as well as a few new bruises ?). The day ended with a Coffee and a relaxed Q & A session. Who said you can’t teach old dogs new tricks?! A very special thanks goes out to the organisers of day!
The Army Cyclocross Championships & Inter Service Race 2020 will take place on Wednesday 29 January 2020 at Chetwynd Barracks, Chilwell. Entry is £7 per rider. If you do not own a CX bike you can still compete on a MTB!
