*RESULTS* ATA Babcock Sprint Triathlon

The ATA hosted the first mass participation in Army Sport, since the lockdown of Covid-19. With all Covid-19 safety measures in place, we were good to go!

104 Athletes took part in the wet and windy conditions, but it was good to be back racing. We had good a range of athletes that took part, from first timers to the elite athletes. Each athlete took to the cold lake to complete the 750m swim, followed by a 20Km cycle around Mallory park circuit and finishing off with a 5Km run. Although it was a different type of race format and no spectators or prize giving, it was good to see some new and experienced athlete faces again, instead of through a computer screen. Hopefully, all athletes managed to take something away from the first ATA run event this year and the new athletes that took part in their first ever Triathlon event, left with a sense of achievement and the Triathlon bug.

Well done to all those that took part, we look forward to seeing you at the next event on the 14th October 2020.
