Gold for Army Pentathletes at the GB Pentathlon Open Championships

The third GB Pentathlon National Ranking event of the 2021-2022 season took place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13h  February 2022 at the Sports Training Village, University of Bath, BA2 7AY, and West Wilts Equestrian Centre, Trowbridge, BA14 6QT.

Excellent performances all round for the Army Pentathletes on an extremely challenging weekend – winning individual and team gold medals

2Lt Kerenza “Kay” Bryson from 165 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC won gold in the Women’s Open.  After 4 events Kay was in 2nd place and only 2 points behind the leader with just the ride to go. The pressure was on, but she rode a clear within the time with her nearest rival having a pole down meaning that 2 Lt Bryson was crowned the Champion.
