The Wavell Pavilion Catterick was opened by Maj Gen Shaun Burley CB MBE Director Army Sport Control Board on 28 Sep 22
The Pavilion is located to support a major sports field location in Catterick Garrison and so replace the previous small facility that was not fit for purpose or able to support the volume of sport played in the area at any one time.
The project was jointly funded by the Nuffield Trust and the Army Sport Control Board Charitable Fund and delivered by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
It will significantly improve the support for the delivery of sport in Catterick Garrison.
