Army Win UKAF Sportswoman and Team of the Year

The UKAF Sports Awards took place at the RAF Club, London on 17 March 22. The winners from all three services vying to achieve the highest honour in service sport, presented by Dame Katherine Grainger the Chair of UK Sport.

Many congratulations to Army Sportswoman of Year, Boxer Gnr Karris Artingstall on being awarded UKAF Sportswoman of the Year following her Bronze Medal achievement at the Tokyo Olympics.

Unfortunately, Karris was unable to attend the award in person, however it was was an honour to receive the accolade as her time with Army Boxing comes to an end and she pursues a career outside of the Army. Karris has represented herself, Army Boxing, British Army Sport and GB Boxing by exemplifying the opportunities available in sport alongside a career in the British Army.

UKAF Sports Team of the Year – Army Rugby League Women The UKAF Awards took place in London yesterday, where the Army Women’s Rugby League Team received their award from Dame Katherine Grainger.
