Service personnel from across all three services are actively training for, and competing successfully in, Strongman and Strongwoman at both Single-Service and Tri-Service level. Some of our athletes have also achieved great success within regional and national level competition in civilian sport.
We are one of the Army’s newest sports and pride ourselves on our strong community environment. No matter your ability, our events are tailored to suit beginner or novice lifters, intermediate strength athletes, or advanced athletes capable of performing at national competition.
We offer competitions and workshops for a variety of experience levels and weight categories:

Each of our competitions comprises of five different events which mimic the 5 functional movement patterns within military fitness: push, push, lunge, hinge, squat. You can expect to see some of the following events when you come and join us:
- Log, Axle or Monster Dumbbell Press.
- Deadlifts – whether an Olympic or Axle bar, a vehicle, or from 15” or 18.”
- Atlas Stones – the staple Strongman and Strongwoman event.
- Farmers Carries.
- Super Yoke.
- And a variety of others!
