What identification should I bring?
You should bring your invitation and Photo Id (e.g. Military ID, Passport or Driving Licence) to gain access to The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Where do I stay the night of the Awards?
RMAS has very limited accommodation for the night of 16th November 2023.
There is beds available on a first come first served basis at ST OMER – diordpfi-pacslamisteamgpmail@mod.gov.uk or by calling 01252 355960 quoting Army Sports Awards. Transport is arranged to the awards and back from St Omer.
If there is no availability – there is a Premier Inn and Travel Lodge in Camberley within walking distance of the main gate at RMAS. (This event is authorised as an official event and will attract duty status; travel at public expense will be admissible within normal guidelines. Individuals are to quote POT Code 16 and their respective Units UIN when booking accommodation.
What is the dress code?
Serving Officers and SNCOs: Mess Dress + miniatures
Serving NCOs and ORs: No 2 Dress + medals
Retired military personnel and civilians: Black Tie + miniatures (or ladies’ equivalent)
A cloakroom will be provided in the Entrance Hall of Old College.
Can I get changed at the event?
Changing facilities will be available on request.

18:00hrs – Reception Drinks in The Indian Army Memorial Room. VIPs, Army Sport Guests and Award Nominees Reception Drinks in the Marlborough Room
18:50hrs – Call to Dinner
19:00hrs – Welcome Address
20:50hrs – Intermission
21:15hrs – Awards Ceremony
22:20hrs – Closing Remarks
22:30hrs – Carriages & Drinks in the Indian Army Memorial Room
I'm travelling by car. Is there parking?
On arrival you will be issued with a car pass and given directions to event parking.
Cars are to be parked on the Churchill Hall Car Park, and attendees should walk across New College Parade Ground to Old College.
Staff drivers may drop off guests on the Parade Ground at the Old College steps. Staff car parking will be available on Old College HQ Car Park, adjacent to Old College
